A System For Thinking
The Mind
Dump System
How to make sure AI never replaces your thinking. One prompt, ten minutes. What it protects is everything.
AI is a tool. The second you let it think for you, you start giving away what got you here.
The Rule
Most people open AI and ask it what to think about. That's the first mistake. The moment AI decides what ideas are worth pursuing, you've handed over the one thing no tool can replicate: your actual thinking.
AI should organize your thinking. Not generate it. The moment that order reverses, your content starts sounding like everyone else's AI, because it is.
The Mind Dump System exists for one reason: to make sure the idea always comes from you first. Every time. What AI amplifies has to come from somewhere real.
How It Works
You dump
Throughout the week, drop any idea, observation, or topic into a simple Notion page as bullet points. No structure. No formatting. Just raw thoughts as they come to you. This is your thinking, not AI's.
AI organizes
Every Sunday at 8am, an automation reads everything you dumped and builds structured content briefs from each idea. Hook, talking points, text overlay, caption. Built from your thinking, not from scratch.
You create
By Sunday afternoon you have a full week of content ready. You didn't ask AI what to talk about. You told it what you were already thinking. That's the difference between amplification and replacement.
The Setup
Download Claude Desktop
Go to claude.ai and download the desktop app. The desktop app is the only way to access Cowork, which is what runs the automation.
Get on the Pro plan
Cowork is only available on Pro. Upgrade at claude.ai before continuing if you're not on it yet.
Connect Notion
In Claude Desktop, click Customize in the top right, scroll to Connectors, and connect your Notion account. If it's not listed, click Add, browse connectors, find Notion, and hit the plus button.
Create your Mind Dump page in Notion
Open Notion and create a new page. Call it Mind Dump. This is your idea vessel. Throughout the week, any thought or topic goes here as a bullet point. No structure needed.
Open Cowork and paste this prompt
Switch to Cowork mode in Claude Desktop (toggle at the top, not regular chat). Open a new Cowork chat and paste this exactly:
Every Sunday at 8:00 AM, read my Mind Dump page in Notion and do the following for each raw idea: 1. Determine what type of content it should be: a short reel, a longer talking head video, or a full YouTube video 2. Build a structured content brief with: — A hook (the opening line that stops the scroll) — Three talking points — A suggested text overlay for the video — An Instagram caption 3. Push each brief into my Short Form or Long Form Content System in Notion based on content type 4. After processing, move all ideas to an Archived section at the bottom of the page so next Sunday it only reads new ideas Run this every Sunday at 8:00 AM automatically.
Test it with Run Now
After Cowork builds the automation, it appears under Scheduled Tasks in the left panel. Click Run Now to confirm everything is connected and working correctly.
